Unlike electric strapping tools, manual strapping tools do not heat-seal the strap; instead, the connection is achieved using a sealing sleeve that holds the tensioned strapping band together. To do this, the sealing sleeve is crimped within the strapping tool, creating a secure connection that reliably holds the strap in place.
